The best comparison starts with what you want to do during an ordinary workout. A long feature list says little if your own plan is hard to find. Assess a fitness app with a small, familiar practical test.
Decide what you need the app for
Do you mainly want to store your own plan, record completed workouts or work with a trainer? Write down your most important need first. Then distinguish features you use every workout from options that may be interesting later.
For example: I want to open my workout, recognise the exercises and find my completed sets. That is a testable need. ‘I want the most comprehensive app’ is much less so. If you work with a trainer, also check which process you both expect.
Test one complete small action
Use one familiar plan for your comparison. Add a workout, find the required exercises and enter a sample record. Then reopen the overview. See whether you understand without explanation what was planned and what you recorded.
- Can you find the correct exercise or variation?
- Is your plan easy to access at training time?
- Can you record the details you use?
- Can you find an earlier workout?
- Are changes still understandable later?
Also assess how much work you duplicate. If you must copy the same details elsewhere each time, the process may fit your needs less well.
Check terms and differences between subscriptions
Check which features belong to your chosen version and review current terms before subscribing. Focus on your specific wishes, not just the number of features. Functions you do not use do not automatically improve everyday recording.
With Workouts Wizard, you can create plans, log workouts and use exercises in the library. Advanced charts and supersets are part of Premium for personal use. On the workout app page , see which features fit your use and check current subscription information in the app.
Make your choice after the practical test
After testing, ask yourself whether the app makes your next workout clearer. You do not have to use every setting immediately. Start with a recognisable plan and simple records. You will then notice which additional features actually add value.
Want to explore Workouts Wizard yourself? Go to download the app. Use your own training as the example so you assess what matters to you: opening a plan, recording details and understanding later what you did.
